Kristen was born at Aurora Presbyterian Hospital, Aurora, CO on December 12, 1982. We were so happy to have a new baby daughter and sister. Mom couldn't sleep that night because she was so happy to have a baby girl! When Kristen was 13 days old, there was a Christmas eve blizzard that kept us snowbound for a week. |

Kristen, Jennifer and their mother, Donna, moved to Ullin, IL to live with Kristen's favorite grandmother, Joyce Churchill. There are lots of pictures of Kristen with her snoopy and loving relatives. Kristen celebrated her first birthday at Grandma's. |

Kristen, Jennifer, and their mom, Donna, moved to Rantoul, IL, so Donna could finish her master's degree. |

 |
Kristen, Jennifer, and their mom, Donna, moved to Oak Park, IL to live with their dad, Tim, who was working as a photographer at the VA Hospital. |
|

They moved to Downers Grove, IL. Kristen and Jennifer liked He-Man and Sheera. Kristen liked Thundercats. She received these on DVD for her 23rd birthday. |

| April 1986 |

The family moved to Burke, VA, where Donna worked for Essex. Kristen and Jennifer liked Virginia and made many friends there. Kristen's favorite things were playing in the sand, going to parks, and visiting National Zoo. You'll see pictures of Kristen and Jennifer dressing up with miracas, goggles, learning how to ride a bike, and playing with a kitten. |

Kristen, Jennifer and their mom, Donna, went to live with their dear friend, MaryLou Crifasi, in Fort Washington, MD. Kristen loved their cat and going to the fort and park to explore. Kristen started kindergarten at Potomac Landing. |

Kristen, Jennifer, and their mom, Donna, moved to Mt. Vernon Square apartments, Alexandria, VA. They spent part of the summer with Grandma Churchill in Illinois, then came back to a new school, Hollin Meadows. Kristen especially liked Huntley Meadows nature preserve where she saw lots of squirrels, cranes, and even a beaver. They met their future father that fall, Gene Loughridge. |

| November 10, 1990 |

Kristen and Jennifer had a new father, Gene Loughridge, and teenage sister, Laura Loughridge, when Donna and Gene married on this happy day. Donna made the outfits for all three girls and her wedding dress. They went to Sir Walter Raleigh's after the ceremony for dinner, and someone came to our table and said what a wonderful family! |

The family moved closer to Gene's work at Ft. Belvoir in Hayfield Farms, Alexandria, VA. Kristen loved living next to a park with apple trees in our backyard. She and Jennifer called their mother at work one day describing the deer in our backyard eating the apples, then hopping the fence like they had springs on their feet. Kristen had a pet rabbit named Bright Eyes. It later died and we buried it in the flower bed in the backyard. She then got Peaches. Her teacher had a black/white Dutch at school. |

The family moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where Donna relocated with MCI. In March of that year, Kristen, Jennifer, and Donna came out to look for a house and check out the schools. Right before we moved, we visited the ocean and you'll see pictures of Kristen with Chincoteague ponies. |

Kristen started fifth grade at Keller Elementary and Jennifer started seventh grade at Russell Middle School. They had lots of sleepovers and parties at their house with friends. They also found their dog, Kira, and loved playing tug-of-war with her in the back yard and taking her for walks at Garden of the Gods. |

Kristen started middle school at Russell across the street from Keller. She enjoyed working on the yearbook and exploring geological digs around Colorado Springs. She and her sister helped out at Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Academy and blazed trails at Camp Shady Brook in the summers. |

The family moved to Falcon, CO. Kristen was a freshman at Falcon High School. Jennifer was homeschooling. |

| December 12, 1998 |

Kristen turned 16. She had taken MasterDrive while 15 and the milestone was having her driving license. |
|

| December 12, 2000 |

We celebrated Kristen's 18th birthday at Jun's, a favorite restaurant of Kristen's. |

| December 12, 2004 |

 |
We celebrated Kristen's birthday at Jun's, then went back to her apartment so she could unwrap her presents. The last pictures I have of her were taken then. The birthday card I gave her talked about how she would have a beautiful life. |

| December 16, 2005 |

Kristen and her mom, Donna, celebrated Kristen's birthday and had a wonderful evening at Mirsch Marsala, one of Kristen's favorite restaurants. They took a picture of Kristen and her mom hugging. |

| December 25, 2005 |
|
|
|
 |
Kristen spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with her family. They exchanged presents and her mom hugged Kristen and told her she loved her. That was the last time we saw Kristen on earth. |
|

| December 28, 2005 |
|
|
|
 |
Kristen joined God and her Grandma Churchill on December 28, 2005, about 4 p.m. at the age of 23. We miss her and our hearts will hurt until we see her again. |
